Club Profit Calculator – Historical Tennis Betting Returns

Club profit calculator: what might the record have returned?

Pick a stake you understand, then see how every recorded club result would have added up at that size. You can also compare a starting bankroll with fixed or changing stakes. This is a historical illustration, not a prediction or a claim about anyone’s actual winnings.

Start here: Choose Fixed cash stake, leave the currency as GBP, and enter £10. The result applies the same £10 stake to every settled selection, including losses and voids. To try a different figure, simply type it into the box. You do not need to change any advanced settings.

How to use the calculator, step by step

  1. Choose your currency. GBP is the default. If you select another currency, the numbers represent a stake in that currency; any fee conversion is separately explained.
  2. Choose “Fixed cash stake”. This is the easiest way to start. The stake remains £10, £25 or your chosen amount for each bet, regardless of previous results.
  3. Set “Your stake per pick”. Type a sum, or tap an example button. For instance £10 means ten pounds on each selection, not ten pounds shared across all selections.
  4. Read “Historical net profit”. This includes all winning and losing outcomes at the recorded odds. A void returns the assumed stake without profit or loss. The figure is before club membership fees unless you tick the separate fee option.
  5. Optionally tick “Deduct membership fees”. This illustrates £49.99 per month over the record’s date range. It is an assumption about a hypothetical continuous subscription, not a statement of your actual charges.
  6. Only then explore “Compounded bankroll comparison”. Enter a starting bank and a percentage (1%, 2% or 3%). The calculator changes the next stake after every result and compares it with fixed staking. This is a risk demonstration, not advice to use compounding.
  7. Look at the chart and drawdown. The chart shows an illustrative historical path; maximum drawdown is the largest peak-to-trough fall. A profitable final figure can still include uncomfortable losing periods.

Compare your staking.

Fixed stake: the same cash amount on every bet, regardless of previous wins or losses.

Compounding: stake 1%, 2% or 3% of your updated bankroll on each bet. The stake rises when the bank grows and falls when it shrinks.

Includes wins, losses and voids. Before fees unless you select membership costs below. Other charges remain excluded. Historical simulation, not a forecast or member return.

Calculation assumptions

Fixed stake applies the same cash amount to each pick. In the bankroll comparison, that fixed amount equals your chosen percentage of the starting bank. Compounded stakes are recalculated from the bank before each selection: they fall after losses and rise after gains.

All settled records are included, from the first recorded date to the latest. Records are processed by match date, then record ID. Each bet is assumed settled before the next, including on the same day. This is a theoretical sequence: actual overlapping bets tie up funds and may change your available bank and returns.

Each selection gets the chosen percentage, regardless of its historical unit stake. Voids leave the bank unchanged; pending bets and drafts are excluded. No deposits, withdrawals or stake rounding are simulated. Optional membership fees are deducted as a separate expense after calculating betting returns; they do not alter stakes or the betting-bank chart. Billing is assumed monthly from the first record date, with the same fee throughout and no promotional discount. Taxes and other execution charges remain excluded. A fixed-stake bank stops placing bets if it cannot fund the stake.

The calculation uses the recorded odds and actual recorded markets, preserving source exceptions. It assumes the whole stake could be accepted at that price, with all winnings reinvested. Real limits, liquidity, commission and settlement can change outcomes. Higher staking percentages increase exposure and drawdown; these options are comparisons, not staking recommendations.

Betting stakes and starting bankroll are entered in your chosen currency; historical unit returns are unchanged. Membership costs use the fixed £49.99 monthly fee. Other currencies use the latest available dated ECB reference rate for the entire simulated period, not historical exchange rates or a Stripe checkout quote. No introductory discount is included.

Enter your actual stake in this currency. This is not a currency conversion or a membership price.

Fixed stake means the same cash amount on each recorded selection.

Plain-English worked example

If the recorded history contains +189.36 units of net betting profit, a hypothetical flat £10 per selection would produce +£1,893.60 before membership fees, taxes, commissions and execution differences. This multiplies the historical unit return by £10; it does not mean any member earned that amount, or that these returns will happen again. The live calculator refreshes from the current published record, so its result may change as new bets are settled.

At larger stakes, winnings and losses both rise in cash terms. At 2% of a £1,000 starting bank, the initial stake is £20; under compounding, it would increase after wins and decrease after losses. Real simultaneous bets, stake limits and changing odds can make your actual experience very different.

Frequently asked questions

Is the “profit” guaranteed?

No. It is a what-if calculation using past recorded results and prices, not a forecast, offer, recommendation or evidence that any follower obtained those exact odds.

Does it include losing bets?

Yes. Winning, losing and void settled selections are included. Pending selections are excluded. The history is not a selection of only winners.

What is the difference between a stake and a bankroll?

Your stake is the amount risked on one selection. Your bankroll is the total sum you allocate for betting. A £10 fixed stake remains £10 even when your overall bank changes; percentage staking recalculates the stake each time.

What is compounding?

Instead of keeping a fixed cash stake, a percentage is applied to the available bankroll before each new bet. If the bank falls, the stake falls; if it rises, the stake rises. It can amplify losses or the impact of changing outcomes.

What does “maximum drawdown” mean?

It is the biggest historical decline from a previous peak of the simulated bankroll to a later low. It helps you understand the losing runs hidden by a final profit figure.

Does the result include £49.99/month membership fees?

Not unless you tick the membership-fee box. When enabled, fees are modelled as separate monthly costs at the current stated fee across the historical period; actual promotions, joining dates or past prices may differ. Taxes, bookmaker limits and commissions are not simulated.

Why is the result different from Betdiary ROI?

This calculator uses net historical betting returns at your hypothetical stake. Betdiary’s gross-return percentage can include stakes returned, while our results page explains the net-profit ROI calculation and treatment of voids. They are not interchangeable percentages.

Why might my real results differ?

You may not obtain the same price, be able to stake the same amount, place every selection, or receive identical settlement. Some bets overlap in real life. The simulation assumes sequential settlement, which cannot fully reproduce those circumstances.

Can I use it without joining the paid club?

Yes. This is a free educational tool based on the public results history. Joining the paid club is separate and concerns future pre-match emails, not this historical calculator.
